History
Arrusé Group’s aim is to offer the quality Mediterranean cuisine and excellent service that make coming to one of our restaurants a unique and enriching experience.
It was created five years ago by Elisabet Seuba, who came back to Spain after a few years in the USA with the idea of starting a chain of restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine, where the quality of the ingredients and love in the preparation were transferred to the dish, so that diners could enjoy an authentic meal.
That’s how Gustos Barcelona came about in 2012, opening its first food corner in the Maremagnum shopping centre. A year later it swapped the fast food service for table service and then opened two new restaurants with the same name in Barcelona, one in the Las Arenas shopping centre and one on Carrer Comtal in the city’s Gothic Quarter. Subsequently, a fourth restaurant was opened in La Jonquera, in the Gran Jonquera Outlet & Shopping complex.
Four years later, in 2016, the group opened its first restaurant in Madrid, with the name Gustos Madrid, taking the brand to the capital’s Plaza Mayor.
A year later, Arrusé Group welcomed a new restaurant to Barcelona: La Cuina de Laietana. This has a different concept of what a restaurant is. Its style and personality differ from Gustos’ but it has the same commitment to quality of produce and diner experience as our other establishments.
Each restaurant has its own personality, in keeping with its surroundings. But they all have one thing in common: a passion for typical Mediterranean cuisine.
